TribFeast, our annual dinner supporting the Tribune’s nonprofit newsroom, is a special opportunity to network with Tribune supporters and Festival luminaries! This year’s event will be a nod to the link between journalism and film, taking place at Austin’s famous Troublemaker Studios.
The highlight of the evening will be Chris Hayes, the host of MSNBC’s Emmy Award-winning show “All In with Chris Hayes,” in conversation with Evan Smith, Texas Tribune co-founder and former CEO. Against the backdrop of an extraordinary few years of news, we’re thrilled to bring Chris to Texas to talk about media, politics and democracy. A widely respected journalist with more than 20 years’ experience, Chris is in his 10th year hosting “All In” following nearly four years as the host of “Up with Chris Hayes.” For the last five years, he has also hosted the popular weekly podcast “Why Is This Happening?” and he’s the author of two books, “Twilight of the Elites: America After Meritocracy” and “A Colony in a Nation.”
TribFeast will take place on Friday night, Sept. 22, right in the middle of The Texas Tribune Festival. Sponsorships include Festival passes. (See below for different support levels.) All proceeds from TribFeast support our newsroom.
